Il Disgelo S.r.l.
Il Disgelo S.r.l. was founded in 2006 on the initiative of Davide Modica, together with Deborah Gorelli, with the aim of introducing innovative solutions and specialized expertise in the field of refrigeration and environmental testing.
The company’s growth continued in 2008 with an initial organizational structuring and the opening of a second operational site in Turin.
In 2013, with the objective of strengthening proximity to customers, the headquarters were moved to the Environment Park of Turin, accompanied by the expansion of the technical and engineering team.
In 2015, the company relocated to its first industrial facility in Leinì.
A key milestone was reached in 2017, when Il Disgelo acquired the Ocras Zambelli brand and its technical heritage, taking over more than 10,000 historical projects and the related customer base. This operation ensured industrial continuity, the enhancement of know-how, and technological development.
From this evolution, DOT – Disgelo Ocras Technologies was established, the brand that today identifies all climate test chambers designed and manufactured in-house.
The progressive expansion of services and the growing customer base led, in 2022, to the relocation to the current headquarters in Via A. Meucci 91, Leinì, a facility featuring 1,500 m² of covered space, complemented by an additional 1,500 m² of outdoor areas dedicated to logistics and parking, designed to efficiently support operational activities and future growth.
Our Team
Today, Il Disgelo relies on a team of over 35 highly qualified professionals, with consolidated expertise in the design, manufacturing, sales, installation, and technical service of systems for environmental, scientific, and industrial testing.
The internal organization allows the company to act as a single point of contact, supporting customers throughout the entire life cycle of the equipment: from the definition of technical specifications to operational management, post-sales support, and long-term maintenance.
The company currently records an annual turnover between 4 and 5 million euros, confirming Il Disgelo as a solid and continuously growing organization.
