Walk-In Climatic Chambers for Environmental Testing on Large Volumes
DROGON Walk-In Climatic Chambers by Il Disgelo are designed to perform environmental tests on large components, systems and products, ensuring precise and uniform temperature and humidity control.
Each chamber is custom-engineered according to the required test conditions, thermal loads, applicable standards and characteristics of the installation site.
The DROGON platform enables the creation of customised climatic environments for durability, reliability and product validation testing in industrial and research applications.
Two Construction Configurations
The DROGON range is available in two construction configurations, developed to meet different application and installation requirements.
DROGON Welded Monobloc
The monobloc version features a fully welded AISI 304 stainless-steel structure designed to provide high mechanical strength and structural tightness.
It is particularly suitable for:
- high-humidity test cycles;
- applications involving high thermal loads;
- severe operating conditions;
- installation sites with sufficient access for positioning the complete structure.
DROGON Modular Panel Construction
The modular version consists of insulated panels assembled directly at the installation site.
This configuration offers a high degree of dimensional flexibility and is particularly suitable for:
- existing buildings and laboratories;
- installation sites with limited access;
- large-volume chambers;
- projects requiring greater configuration flexibility.

Fields of Application
DROGON Walk-In Climatic Chambers are used across a wide range of industries:
- automotive and electric mobility;
- aerospace and defence;
- electronics and components;
- pharmaceutical and chemical;
- construction materials;
- research and development laboratories.
Custom-Engineered Climatic Solutions
DROGON chambers make it possible to perform long-duration climatic tests, simulate extreme hot and cold cycles, and integrate dedicated test benches, dynamic systems and auxiliary equipment.
Each solution is configured according to:
- temperature and humidity ranges;
- required rates of temperature change;
- thermal loads generated by the test specimens;
- uniformity and stability of the climatic conditions;
- applicable standards and test procedures;
- energy-efficiency targets;
- available space and installation-site constraints.
Complex Environmental Testing
International standards and the most advanced testing specifications often require verification under severe and controlled climatic conditions, with the aim of evaluating the behaviour of components, complete systems, and large-scale equipment before they are placed on the market.
DROGON chambers make it possible to:
- simulate extreme temperature and humidity conditions;
- perform programmable climatic cycles and long-duration tests;
- test large components, vehicles, batteries, and complete systems;
- reproduce real operating conditions and worst-case scenarios;
- verify performance, reliability, safety, and durability;
- identify anomalies, failures, and potential design issues;
- integrate test benches, measurement systems, and safety devices;
- perform tests in accordance with the main IEC and EN standards, as well as specific automotive, industrial, and electronics testing specifications.
DOT Control Technology
All DROGON climatic chambers can be equipped with:
- 10-inch DOT Touch Panel;
- proprietary ClimaLogic® software;
- industrial PLC;
- remote supervision and management through DIDRUS.
The control platform allows users to program, manage and record climatic test cycles while maintaining the same technological architecture adopted across the entire DOT Il Disgelo range.
Reliability for Industrial Applications
DROGON chambers are designed for continuous operation and seamless integration into testing, research and production processes.
Their industrial construction, customised system design and accurate control of climatic conditions provide a reliable and stable solution, even for the most demanding applications.
