The CP Series dust test chambers are systems designed to verify the degree of protection of components, enclosures and equipment against the ingress of solid particles, through controlled dust exposure testing.
The tests make it possible to evaluate product resistance to solid agents according to the IP XY classification, where the first digit identifies the level of protection against the ingress of solid objects and dust. Test conditions are defined according to particle size, the required methodology and the characteristics of the component under test.
CP chambers keep dust in suspension through compressed air, a fan or dedicated recirculation systems, creating controlled and repeatable conditions inside the test chamber.
They are particularly suitable for testing street lighting systems, traffic lights, automotive lighting and signalling components, electrical and electronic safety devices, electrical panels, junction boxes, reflectors and industrial components.
They are designed to provide:
