WALK-IN CLIMATIC CHAMBER – DROGON MODULAR SERIES

 

The DROGON Modular series represents the insulated panel walk-in configuration within the DOT range, engineered for industrial applications requiring structural modularity and installation flexibility.

 

The DROGON Modular walk-in chamber is built with insulated panel systems assembled through eccentric locking hooks, designed to provide:
 

• structural modularity

• dimensional flexibility

• ease of installation

• possibility of relocation or future expansion

• reliable thermal and climatic performance

This configuration is particularly suitable for installations in existing buildings or environments with limited access, where a monoblock welded unit cannot be introduced as a single module.

 

STRUCTURAL DESIGN

 

Modular insulated panels

• Self-supporting structure with insulated sandwich panels

• Mechanical connection via eccentric locking hooks

• Available thicknesses: 120 mm – 160 mm

 

Materials

• External cladding: pre-painted galvanized steel (RAL 9010)

• Internal cladding: AISI 304 stainless steel

 

Thermal insulation

• Self-extinguishing expanded polyurethane foam

  • Density: 40/42 kg/m³

  • Thermal conductivity: 0.024 W/mK at +10 °C

  • Closed-cell structure > 95%

  • Compressive strength > 200 kPa

  • Fire reaction class: B3

Panels are assembled using a PVC male/female joint system, sealed to ensure:
 

• thermal tightness

• moisture protection

• structural stability

THERMAL DYNAMICS

 

Temperature ramp rates are defined according to the applicable test standard, thermal load and chamber volume.
The refrigeration and heating systems are dimensioned based on the required test profile.
