Italian Climatic System Integrated with Six Poster for Dynamic Full-Vehicle Testing
Il Disgelo designed and manufactured for IVECO a DOT DROGON Walk-In climatic chamber with an internal volume of approximately 700 m³, developed for climatic and dynamic testing on complete vehicles.
The chamber is integrated with a Six Poster system for road and pavé simulation, allowing climatic testing and dynamic testing to be carried out within the same controlled environment.
Developed Solution
The configuration integrates a custom Walk-In climatic chamber with a thermally insulated floor and a Six Poster system dedicated to vehicle testing.
The system was designed to provide:
- climatic testing on complete vehicles;
- integration with a Six Poster system;
- combined simulation of environmental conditions and road loads;
- temperature and relative humidity control;
- protection of actuator-to-floor interfaces;
- temperature control within the technical pit;
- centralized PLC management;
- dedicated safety and alarm-management systems.
