DRACARYS 800 L Climatic Chamber for Hutchinson

Il Disgelo supplied Hutchinson with an 800-litre DOT DRACARYS climatic chamber, designed to perform climatic tests under controlled conditions.

The solution operates from −70 °C to +180 °C, with relative humidity control from 20% to 98% RH, and integrates dedicated glycol detection and test safety systems.

Developed solution

The chamber features a monobloc configuration, an AISI 304 stainless-steel test compartment and 100 mm thermal insulation.

The configuration includes:

• cascade refrigeration system;
• heating rate up to 3 °C/min;
• cooling rate up to 2.5 °C/min;
• door with heated observation window;
• glycol sampling and detection system;
• fire-extinguishing system;
• ATEX air-renewal system;
• SIL 3-certified safety components;
• CliMaLogic® control system;
• CSV data recording;
• VNC Viewer and Modbus TCP/IP.
