Multi-compartment system for thermal processing of automotive components with independent temperature and cycle-time control
Il Disgelo designed and built for Adler Pelzer a custom process oven composed of six independent chambers, installed at the Pesaro facility and developed for the controlled thermal treatment of components intended for the automotive sector.
The solution makes it possible to manage six independent process cycles within a single structure, allowing temperature and cycle time to be set separately for each compartment. Each chamber also has its own air-treatment system, enabling different operating conditions to be managed simultaneously.
Developed Solution
The system consists of a single structure internally divided into six separate compartments, each measuring approximately 1165 × 2000 × 2500 mm and equipped with its own access door for loading trolleys.
Each compartment has independent temperature regulation, dedicated air treatment, cycle-time control and door safety devices. The six chambers are organized into two groups of three, each managed by a dedicated PLC, while the air exhaust systems are shared within each group.
The system was designed to ensure:
- six independent process chambers within a single unit;
- independent temperature regulation for each compartment;
- independent cycle-time setting;
- dedicated air treatment for each chamber;
- heating by electric resistance elements;
- uniform air distribution inside the compartments;
- easy access through six dedicated trolley doors;
- threshold-free floor access to facilitate handling;
- safety interlocks on the doors;
- optical indication of cycle completion;
- centralized control through two PLCs;
- programming and supervision through CliMaLogic®;
- process data logging;
- remote supervision via Ethernet, VNC Viewer and Modbus TCP/IP.

Result
The project enabled Adler Pelzer to implement a compact process system capable of managing six independent thermal treatments in parallel, optimizing production space and increasing operational flexibility.
The combination of six autonomous compartments, independent temperature regulation, separate cycle-time management and centralized control makes it possible to run different processes simultaneously while maintaining repeatability, safety and control of operating conditions.
