The DOT TCEM | 1.0–2.7 m³ model is a high-performance climatic solution within the TCEM range, designed to perform thermal and climatic testing on electric motors, transmissions, e-Axle systems and complete powertrains subjected to dynamic loads.
Available in 1.0 m³ and 2.7 m³ reference configurations, the platform can also be developed to customer-specific requirements, adapting the usable volume, dimensions, performance and interfaces to the characteristics of the system under test, the dynamometer configuration and the available installation space.
The high-rigidity structure and dedicated interfaces facilitate integration with dynamometers, drive shafts, load systems, cooling circuits, wiring and data acquisition equipment.
Accessibility to the test compartment simplifies system positioning, alignment operations, configuration activities and maintenance.
The chambers are designed to ensure:
- integration with external dynamometers and test benches;
- coordinated temperature and humidity control;
- execution of static and dynamic climatic cycles;
- management of thermal loads generated by the system under test;
- high stability and uniformity of climatic conditions;
- accuracy and repeatability of results over time;
- easy access to the test compartment;
- integration with shafts, wiring, service circuits and acquisition systems;
- configuration of dedicated interfaces, interlocks and safety devices;
- supervision, data logging and remote management through DOT technology.
It is a solution particularly suited to laboratories, test centres and R&D departments operating in the automotive, electric mobility, motorsport, railway and industrial powertrain sectors.
Custom design makes it possible to configure each chamber according to the system under test, the loads generated during testing, the characteristics of the dynamometer, the required performance, the necessary interfaces and the specific constraints of the installation area.
